PRYNNE, (nee Tregidga) Joan, Beloved wife of the late Gordon Lloyd Prynne (Sept. 9, 2001); loving daughter of the late Nellie Tregidga (1972), passed away peacefully on March 17, 2005 at Extendicare Nursing Home. Joan was born in Cornwall, England o n May 28, 1919 and spent her childhood in Butte (Walkersville) Montana U.S.A. She had been a resident of St. Catharines since 1945, with membership to such organizations as Niagara Symphony, St. Catharines Horticultural Society, IODE and Westminister United Church. Many residents will remember her as a manager of Wray's Ladies Wear on St. Paul Street. Joan is survived by her god-daughters Barbara Wynn-Jones and Devon of St. Catharines and Gail Giles of Cornwall, England, nephew Gerald (Anne) Mas ters of Cornwall, England, cousin of Joy and Bob Wynn of Peterborough, Elizabeth and Bill Chadjowsky of Jordan Station, Robert and Marlene Stoneman of London, Ontario, Jack and Betty Stoneman of Australia, Doreen Stoneman of Cornwall, England and her good friends Veronica and Albert Prynn of Cornwall, England. The family would like to thank the staff of Extendicare for their care and love during Joan's stay with them. Donations to the Alzheimers Society in lieu of flowers would be greatly apprec iated. Cremation has taken place.
