HORNER, Arnold George, June 14, 1919 - March 18, 2005. It is with much sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and poppy, Arnold Horner on Friday, March 18, 2005. Those who are thankful for sharing his life are his wife of 60 years, Bernice, his children, Dennis (Marina), Gary, Cheryl, Wayne (Shirley), Bob (Judy) and Mark (Deborah); his grandchildren, Melanie, Lesley, Kelly, Darren, Michael, Ian, Eric, Rebecca, Ashley, Emily and Hunter, will forever miss their story telli ng poppy. Arnold also leaves behind his sister-in-law Mary Horner and her children Ken and Debbie. Arnold was predeceased by his parents Margaret and William and brothers Bill and Doug. Arnold served in the Air Force during World War II. He worked fo r Anthies Imperial for 18 years and retired from General Motors as a Pattern Maker in 1984 after 20 years of service. Arnold was a past member of the Grantham Masonic Lodge. Arnold is resting at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St reet, 905-684-6346, visitation is Monday, March 21, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Masonic Lodge will hold their service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity in memory of Arnold would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the entire staff and friends at Chateau Gardens Nursing Home for their excellent care and compassion during the last year.
