Catherine LeBlanc PRE-D'EN-HAUT, NB - Catherine LeBlanc of Pre-D'en-Haut, passed away at her residence on Friday, March 18, 2005 at the age of 74. Born February 21, 1931 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Leger and the late Melvina Gaudet. She was employed as an accounts receivable at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital for 43 years before retirement. She was loved by everyone and was quiet, but always a smile on her face and enjoyed camping. She was a member of the Golden Age Club of PreD'en-Haut. Catherine and Henri raised Donald Gautreau as a foster child for 6 years. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Henri LeBlanc of Pre-D'en-Haut; a foster child, Donald; three sisters, Sylvie and Aline Leger both of Dieppe, Marie (late Arthur) LeBlanc of Memramcook, one brother; Aurele Leger of Foyer St-Thomas, Memramcook and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-mother, Agnes (Gauvin) Leger; her sisters, Geneva, Catherine, Celina; and a brother, Victor. Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, March 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, March 22 from 2 to 6:30 pm. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 7:00 pm at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pre-D'en-Haut. Interment in the Parish cemetery. [Times & Transcript]
