Mrs. Elizabeth R. Shaw 1922 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Elizabeth Ruth Shaw, wife of Harold (Hal) Shaw, of Springvale Avenue, Miramichi, passed away on arrival at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday morning, at the age of 82. Born in Digby, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Elisha K. and Nellie (Hutchinson) Budd. She was a homemaker and an adherent of the United Church of Canada. She is survived by her husband, Harold (Hal) Shaw; two daughters, Sandra Higginbothan (Steven), of Oromocto and Janet Greene (Robert), of Greenwood, N.S.; one son, Gary Shaw (Colleen), of Quispamsis; three brothers, Arthur Budd (Roxie), Harry Budd (Joyce) and Robert Budd, all of Digby, N.S.; three grandchildren, Matthew, Jeffery and Mark. By her request there will be no visiting or funeral service. A private graveside committal service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
