CARR, CLARA WINNIFRED The death of Clara W. Carr occurred at Pine Grove Nursing Home on Monday, March 21st, 2005. Born in Geary, NB on April 3rd, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Eva (Wood) Carr and wife of the late Delbert Carr. Clara moved to Saint John in her younger years and lived there for several years until she returned to Geary in the 1950's. She was a life member of the PC Party, working in several positions for the party over the years. She was also a prize winning knitter and a past member of the Geary Lauvina Women's Institute. Clara's nieces and nephews will probably remember her most for her teasing ways and her wonderful home baked cookies. She is survived by one brother, Medley Carr (Polly) of Geary, NB; three sisters, Vivian Grasse (Joe Wells) of Burton, NB, Stella Carr (Oswald) of Geary, NB and Teresa Carr of Geary, NB. She will also be sadly missed by her much-loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Delbert, her parents and her brothers, Vincent and Fayne Carr. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2005 from 7-9 pm and on Thursday, March 24th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 26th, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Greg Sparkes officiating with Rev. Perry Edwards assisting. Pallbearers will be, Jeff E. Carr, Jeff Carr, Jack Carr, Linton Carr, Jamie Bennett and Nelson Carr.
