Alfreda M. LEGOUFFE

Alfreda M. Wanvig 1931 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Alfreda Mary (Tabby) Wanvig, widow of the late Kenneth Wanvig, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, and formerly of Golden Hawk Drive, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2004 at the age of 73. Born in St. Jules, P.Q., she was the daughter of the late James and Christiane (Bujold) LeGouffe. She was a homemaker and was Roman Catholic by faith. She was a member of Branch #3, Royal Canadian Legion, Miramichi. She is survived by one son, Craig Wanvig (Marlene) of Miramichi; two sisters, Francoise Gideon (Clayton) of LaCroix, P.Q., Julia Pike of Montreal, P.Q.; two grandchildren, Chandra and Shantell; one great grandchild, Ceili Brianne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five sisters, Bernice, Emilia, Blanche, Leora and Florence LeGouffe; one brother, Emile LeGouffe. Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Friday only from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
