Jean Marguerite Borthwick March 18, 1917 - March 24, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Claresholm) Jean Marguerite Borthwick, passed away in Claresholm on March 24, 2005 at the age of 88 years. Jean was the loving mother and mother-in-law of Jim and Beth of Claresholm and Stan and Kaye of Picture Butte, AB. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Tim, Cathy (Matt), Debbie, Alan, Richard (Erica); great granddaughter Emily and brother Bob McQuay of Kamloops, BC. Jean was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1985; three sisters and two brothers. Born at Dauphin, MB, she received her education in Winnipeg and in 1941 graduated from Nursing at the Winnipeg Children's Hospital. In 1946, Jean moved to Claresholm and nursed at the Claresholm General Hospital as well as helping her husband on the family farm. Services will be held at Leyden's Funeral Home, 4079-1st Street West, on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Jean may be made to a charity of choice.
