HUGHES, Genevieve Retired Teacher (Catholic Board) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at New Orchard Lodge. Beloved wife of the late C. Morton Hughes. Loving mother of David (Dawn). Proud nana of Shannon (Daren Chalupiak) and Lisa. Summer mother of Joan and the late Claire. Survived by dear sister-in-law Geraldine Butterworth. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Bridget Quinn; brothers Tom and Fr. John Quinn; sisters Marie Quinn, Nora McKiernan and Ella Smith. Friends may visit at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fr. Jack Quinn officiating.
