PARKIN, Roma Connolly Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Sunday, February 27, 2005, at her home in Kitchener, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Francis Parkin. Loving mother of daughter Patricia and her husband Charles Lawson of Lynden and her son John and his wife Nenette Parkin of Kitchener, and daughter Wynne and husband James Stearns of Megantic, Que. Devoted grandmother to John and Spencer Lawson, Mitchell and Forrest Stearns, Daniel and Sean Parkin. At Roma's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Retired as an executive assistant, Roma spent her later years in Ottawa, where she was an active volunteer with the Ottawa Humane Society. Friends are invited to share their memories of Roma at John's home in Kitchener, on Saturday, March 12, 2005 from 2-6 p.m. and on Sunday March 13, 2005 from 1-4 p.m. In Roma's memory, donations to the Humane Society of Ottawa - Carleton, 101 Champagne, Ottawa, ON K1Y 4A3 would be appreciated by the family.
