WYNNE-JONES, Sheila B. At a few minutes after six on Sunday evening, February 27, 2005 at Lanark Lodge, Perth. The end came quietly, peacefully, with her youngest son at her side. Sheila was 88. She is survived by her six children: Jennifer, Diana, Wendy, Tim, Bryony, and Philip; by fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She leaves behind, as well, a sister, Isabelle; many loving cousins, nieces and nephews in England; and a great many friends, indeed, in both the old world and the new. She was the "Queen Mum" at Lanark Lodge, famous for her ready smile. Her beloved "Wynne" predeceased her by 24 years almost to the day. But he was often with her in the waning years and it was always her aim to be truly reunited with him. At long last, she is. A service to celebrate Sheila's life will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Perth on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. A time of remembrance and refreshment will be held immediately following the service in St. James Parish Hall. In remembrance, contributions to the Lanark Lodge Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth, 613-267-3765. Published in the Ottawa Citizen on 3/5/2005
