Agnes Bernadette TORLEY

CAVANAGH, Agnes Bernadette Peacefully at home, surrounded by love, on Thursday, March 3rd, 2005, Agnes Torley returned to her heavenly Father. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Cavanagh. Devoted and much-loved mother of Catherine, James (Cindy), Michael (Joyce) and Patrick (Donna DiMillo). Loving Grandma and Nana of Brendan, Keelan and Connor, Patrick and Robbie and Joey and Victoria. Also mourning her loss are her dear sister Teresa, Sister of Charity of Halifax, loving niece Anne (Paul Villeneuve), their children Shannon and Dylan, and nieces and nephews Kim (Ron DeSchiffart), Sharon Torley (Blair Richardson) and families, James Torley and special friend Anna Morris of Halifax. Agnes was born in Stellarton, NS on January 24, 1923. She is predeceased by her parents James and Catherine Torley (nee Quinn), her sisters Elizabeth (the late Joseph MacPherson), Mary Torley (Jack Madden), Kathleen Torley and her brothers James and John Torley (the late Shiela Defayette). The family would like to express our appreciation to Dr. Margaret Farncombe, Dr. Shail Verma and Dr. Trevor DeSouza, the Victorian Order of Nurses, and the CCAC for their compassion and loving care of our mother. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (Barrhaven) Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Eucharistic celebration will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Monicas Church, 2080 Merivale Road.
