SLENO, Nora (nee McMenamin). Retired longtime employee of Sears Canada. Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the William Osler Health Centre in Brampton, Ontario on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the age of eighty-three years. Nora, beloved wife of the late Stewart Allen Sleno. Loving mother of Maureen and her husband Brian Gillett. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Agnes McMenamin and by her sisters Helen Coulombe, Mary Patenaude and by her little brother Sonny. Survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Sleno, nieces, nephews and her good friends Pat and Will Van. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Brampton Hospital for their wonderful care and support. Visitation will be held at the Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal (514) 483-1870 on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday at St. Monica's Church, 6405 Terrebonne St. for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Cote des Neiges Cemetery. In memory of Nora, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. She was loved by all, all will be forever remembered and missed.
