FULFORD, Douglas Frederick Retired Farmer - Producer of the best maple syrup in the Pontiac. In hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, March 6, 2005, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Dorothy Stanzell. Son of the late Earl Fulford and Jeanette Hyde. Loving father of Jim (Pat), Stuart (Holly), both of Fort McMurray, Alberta and Jean (James), Cranbrook, B.C. Predeceased by daughter Susan. Dear brother of Donald (Joyce), Penticton, B.C., Duncan (Barbara), Cornwall, Ontario, Betty Smith (Frank), Ottawa. Predeceased by sisters Stella Curtis, Audrey Hodgins, Elaine, and brother John (Joe). Caring grandfather of Vanessa, Jacquelyn, Kevin, Honor, Tristan, Erin, and Robyn. Doug was a dedicated member of the Shawville Lions Club for many years. Friends may call at the W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, March 9th, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, March 10th to Stark's Corners United Church for Service at 2 p.m. Interment Stark's Corners Community Cemetery in the Spring.
