BACKMAN, Ruth (nee Travitsky). With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Ruth Backman on Monday, March 7, 2005. Much beloved wife of the late Jack. Loving mother of Deanna (Howard Downer) and Sydney (Estelle). Cherished grandmother of Stewart, Helene (Neil Weber), Paul (Alice), David, Andrea (Yaron Spanglet). Proud great grandmother of Bailey and Annie. Predeceased by her 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank Arik Azoulay and the staff of Residence Lev Tov for their care and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W on Wednesday March 9 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the North End Wilkomirer Cemetery, De La Savane. Shiva private.
