THOMS, D. Anita (nee Swayne) Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday, March 9, 2005. Cherished wife of the late Ern Thoms. Loving mother of Ric, Susan (Bob Lomas) and Allyson (Paul Rossiter). Dear Mutie and Tuey of Sloane Thoms (Jamie Gagnon), Julie (Sean Clark), Rob (Mandy Ouellette) and Andrew Lomas, Jason, Jenny (Blain Beyer) and Jory Rossiter. Proud great-grandmother of Jacen. Predeceased by her brother Jack Swayne and sister Pat Betts. Anita will also be sadly missed by Sharon Thoms, sisters-in-law Edrie Morphy and Joan Swayne, brother-in-law Reverend Canon Cyril J. Betts and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline Road and Bayshore Drive) Nepean, on Friday, March 11, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday at Christ Church Cathedral, 439 Queen Street, Ottawa, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
