WHITEMAN, Rose (nee Wener). Peacefully at the Jewish General Hospital on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Max Whiteman. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Carole and Lawrence Lerman, Carolyn and the late William (Bill). Adored Bubby and granny of Allan and Sharron Lerman, Mark and Cheryl Lerman, Francine and Barry Berman, David Whiteman, Anne and Dan Deakter, and Michael Whiteman. Big Bobe of Mitchell and Kevin Lerman, Jacob and Tyler Berman, Lori and Tommy Lerman, Zev Argov and Michael Deakter, Leah and Douglas Segal. Sister and sister-in-law of Lil and the late Joseph Wener. She will be missed by all her nieces, nephews and many friends. Our sincere gratitude to all the staff at the Monoir Montefiore, as well as her personal caregivers, especially Diane who treated her with dignity and wonderful care. Our thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Jewish General Hospital, I.C.C.U. for their support and compassion. To Ellen, again, thanks for being there.
