ROBINSON, Dorothy "Dolly" Violet (nee Hickmore). Passed away on March 7, 2005, in Port Moody, B.C. Born August 4, 1930, in Montreal. Dolly moved with her family to Bramalea, Ontario, in 1964 and to Burnaby, B.C. in 1971. She was predeceased by her beloved husband James "Jim" Alexander Robinson. Dolly will be heartfully missed and fondly remembered by her loving children Glenn Robinson of Toronto, Ontario and Gregg (Lorna) Robinson of Brampton, Ontario and Tammy (Todd) Nolte of Surrey, B.C.; and her granchildren Sean, Janine, Samantha, Cameron, Missy, Matthew and Trevor. Dolly was also survived by her dear sister June Orford, her brother-in-law David (Ann) Robinson, niece Heather Robinson and her son-in-law Allan Burroughs. Dolly enjoyed a full and happy life and remained active until the final weeks of her courageous battle with cancer. She was a warm, kind woman who lived for her family. After her beloved husband Jim died in 1989, her growing number of grandchildren provided a great source of comfort and inspiration. Dolly was also very proud to be a Canadian. Dolly was blessed with many friends in Canada, the United States and the UK. Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Burnaby, B.C. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 3/11/2005
