GARLISCH, Milton Horton Veteran WW II - R.C.A. Peacefully with his loving family by his side, at Fairview Manor, Almonte, Ontario on Friday, March 11, 2005, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Wilma Garlisch (nee Wilson). Loving father of Mary May (Andrew) and Ruth Knipe (Ron). Loving grandfather of Tyler, Marissa Wehbe (Roger), Sarah Montalvo (Michael), Caleb, Wes, Jackie Sheppard (Al), Geoff and Christopher. Devoted brother-in-law to Ilene Lebarron. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Hugh Jack officiating. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa. Donations to Fairview Manor or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Carleton Place would be appreciated. A true gentleman to everyone, he won the hearts of those around him. His family meant the world to him. A very special thanks to his wonderful caregivers; Barb, Donna, Karen, Kim, Christine and Dave who made his days in hospital so full of love and joy, and to the caring staff at Fairview Manor who made it possible for him to live his remaining few days "at home and in peace".
