HOWITT, Elma. Much loved and already fondly missed wife of George Howitt, passed away peacefully in Maples, Florida on March 11, 2005 in her seventy-first year. She will be lovingly remembered by her many friends and family in Canada and in Scotland. Elma is survived in Scotland by her sister Marion (Robbie) and by her newphews and their families. Remembrance services to be held at a later date. Donations to Medecins Sans Frontieres in memory of Elma would be appreciated. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 3/14/2005
