MENDIS, Jane Mary Assuntha. 1932-2005. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on March 13, 2005 in Montreal. She leaves behind her dearly beloved husband of fifty years, Clarence Mendis, daughter Jasmine (Nima Perera), son Mohan and grandchildren Sally, Keith, Ricky, Randy, Melanie and Eric. Visitation on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard des Ormeaux, 514-685-3344 from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke's Church, 106A Anselme Lavigne, D.D.O. on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. The family wishes to thank the Royal Victoria Hospital staff for their exceptional care and compassion.
