BLAIR, Hugh Douglas Murray After a brief illness on Wednesday March 16, 2005 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital at the age of 87. Dearly loved husband of 53 years of Margaret (nee Hills). Proud father of Ian (Ruth), and Ross. Cherished grandfather of Laurel, David and Alan. Survived by brothers and sisters Mary, James, David, Donald and Martha, and sister-in-law Barbara Hills. He was predeceased by his son Keith (Ingrid), brothers John, Kenneth, Archie, and sister Emily Griffiths. Hugh was an active member at Parkdale United Church and treasurer of the Ottawa West Senior Citizen's Support Services. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt Ave) on Friday, March 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Parkdale United Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Parkdale United Church, 429 Parkdale Ave., Ottawa, ON K1Y 1H3 would be appreciated.
