MONAGHAN, Emily C.N.D. (Sister St. Francis of Lima). Passed away at Villa Marguerite, Pierrefonds, QC on March 16, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Frank Monaghan and Laure Rouleau. She was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa and Madeline and her brothers, Peter, Francis, Patrick, and Charles. She leaves to mourn her sister, Patricia Nault and many nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends. She will be sorely missed by her companions at Villa Marguerite. Sister Emily began her teaching career at St. Ann's Hospital in Montreal and after eighteen years went to St. Anthony's. In 1950, she was assigned to the States and spent thirty years in St. Albans, St. Jeans, NY, Waterbury, St. Johnsbury. She returned to Canada in 1980 and spent one year at Richmond as organist in the parish. In 1981 she retired at Villa Marguerite. The Wake will be held at: 14370 Pierrefonds Blvd., Pierrefonds, on March 18, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with a Vigil service starting at 8 p.m. The Eucharistic Celebration will take place at St. Suzanne's Church, 9501 Gouin Blvd West, Pierrefonds at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2005, thence to Cote-des-Neiges Cemetery, Montreal for burial.
