LACASSE, Yvonne Marie (nee Beaupre). Born in Dunrea, Manitoba on January 23, 1905. Predeceased by her husband, George eldest of 10 children. Survived by 1 sister, Molly; 2 sisters-in-law, Julie (Ron), Peggy Beaupre; 3 children, Lorraine (Ron), Roland (Louisa), Pauline (Don); 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of St. Peter's Parish for 72 years, also a member of the Catholic Womens League as well as the young at Heart Seniors Group and La Societe de Les Dames de St. Ann's, she volunteered at many functions, as well as the Queens Park Centre for 14 years and canvassed for the Mother's March. She was also well known as a custom drapery maker and seamstress. Prayers will be held Thursday, March 4, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in Columbia-Bowell Chapel, 219-6th Street, New Westminster. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 5, 2004 at 12:00 noon in St. Peter's Parish, 402 Royal Avenue, New Westminster. Father J. Jordan O.M.I.
