HIRES, Anna (nee Szalai). Passed away peacefully at Cite de la Sante de Laval Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at the age of eighty-eight after a long illness. Beloved wife of John. Anna came to Canada in 1956, from Hungary. She is predeceased by her brothers and sisters in Hungary. Will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Friends may pay respect at Jasko Moshonas Ouimet Funeral Home, 693 Jean Talon W., (corner Champagneur), on Monday, March 28, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral to be held at Our Lady of Hungary Church, 90 Guizot W., on Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m., thence to Mount Royal Cemetery for interment.
