ZOVISH, Emily. 1921-2005. Passed away on March 22, 2005 at the age of eighty-three after a long and courageous battle with cancer with her loving family by her side. A devoted and loving mother to Linda and Bob (Linda). Cherished "Nanny" to Cherie, Shaun, Kristen, Christopher and Michael. Dear sister of Monica Givis. Dear aunt to Jim (Charlene) and Sandy (Earl), Tanner, Kyra and Hayley. She will be deeply missed by her family. Mom, you are our strength and inspiration, we will always love you. Thank you to the staff of 4-NW at the Jewish General Hospital for your exceptional care. A very special thanks to Linda whose kindness, compassion and strength helped Mom through her most difficult time. You truly "do have wings". Visitation at J.F. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, 5784 Verdun Avenue, Verdun (corner Manning Avenue), in the Chapel, on Monday, March 28, 2005 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. thence to Mount Royal Cemetery.
