HALEY, Joan. The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, Prince Edward Island, on Wednesday, March 30, 2005, of Joan Haley, of 190 Rogers Avenue, Summerside, P.E.I., aged sixty-seven years. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Ellen (Moore) Burton. Survived by her husband Gerald Haley; a daughter Tracey Ross (Ed Adamic), Ajax, ON; son Jeffrey (Wendy) Ross, Pembroke, ON; grandchildren Scott, Ashley, Brittany, Andrew and Liam; sisters and brother Patricia (Rico) Dilio, Gerald Burton, Noreen Burton, Mary Giuliani and Jenny (Fred) Coward. Predeceased by her brother Thomas Burton and sister Gayle (Evert) Goodwin. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay, P.E.I. and in Montreal, Quebec, at a later date. Interment will later take place in St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay, P.E.I. No visiting hours by personal request.
