Mrs. Pauline Mary Alice Landry June 29, 1920 - January 12, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Pauline Mary Alice Landry age 84, of Amherst passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Gables Lodge, Amherst, N.S. formerly of 36 Central Ave. Born in Amherst she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Lucy (Porter) Baird. Pauline was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Women's League. She enjoyed her summers at her Port Howe cottage. Pauline loved spending time with her family, especially with her sisters who were always ready to share a good laugh. She enjoyed games, crafts, knitting and dominoes. Pauline will be dearly missed. Pauline is survived by sons David (Barb) of British Columbia and Paul (Elizabeth) of Amherst and daughter Mary Lou Landry (Janet) of Nanaimo, B.C., sisters Jean Chapman and Barb (Russell) Clarke both of Amherst and Helen Ripley of Pugwash, grandchildren Greg Landry of Dorchester, Matthew Landry of Tidnish, Mike Landry of Dartmouth, Cory Landry of Calgary and Melissa Comeau of Amherst, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Robert W., son Robert F., and grandson James. Cremation has taken place. Her family will receive visitors at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 10 a.m. from St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, Amherst. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst.
