Winnifred Louise Hatcher January 13, 1917 - March 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) HATCHER, Winnifred Louise - 88, Halifax, passed away, March 26, 2005, in Glades Lodge. Born in Ramea, NL, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Kendall) Scott. She had been a faithful parishioner of St. Philips Anglican Church. She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Bruce McOrmond) Hatcher, Halifax; brother, Philip Scott, Grand Bank, NL; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Freeman; sisters, Gertrude, Dorothy, Josephine; brothers, Allan, William, Dorman, and Ira. Visitation will take place from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 6552 Bayers Rd., with memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Philips Anglican Church, Rev. Dr. Brian J. Spence officiating. Burial will follow in St. Albans Columbarium in The Cathedral Church of All Saints. Family flowers only, donations in memory may be made to St. Philips Anglican Church, 3077 George Dauphinee Ave., Halifax, NS B3L 4N3. No scents please
