ARMSTRONG, AUSTIN O. Mr. Austin O. Armstrong of Roachville and formerly of Armstrong's Corner Queens Co, NB, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 27, 2005 at the age of 98. Born in Armstrong's Corner NB on May 29, 1906, Austin was the son of the late George Armstrong and Eliza Corbett and the beloved husband of the late Orie M. (Allingham) Armstrong who passed away in 1998. Austin is survived by his daughter, Marion Patterson of Hampton, two sons, Harold and his wife Beatrice of Roachville, Winston and his wife Jessie of Newtown, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Austin was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Austin was predeceased by six sisters; Zerelda, Elvira, Winnifred, Kathleen, Helen and Thelma, and by his son-in-law, Albert Patterson Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-4331176), with visitation on Monday 7-9, Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 11:00 am.
