CAMERON, ROY DOUGLAS At the Oromocto Public Hospital on Tuesday March 29, 2005 Roy Douglas Cameron of Upper Hampstead, NB passed away at the age of 90. Born in Upper Hampstead, NB he was a son of the late James and Mabel Cameron and husband of the late Stella Cameron who passed away August 2004. Roy had a great passion for horses. He trained race horses and travelled all over the Maritimes to horse sales and races. Roy was also a member of the Gagetown Gems. He is survived by two sons Douglas (Eileen) and Floyd (Shirley) all of Upper Hampstead; four daughters Ruth Allen of Upper Gagetown, Donna Banks (Ross), Doreen Underhill (Victor), Diane Urquhart (Willard) all of Gagetown; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by one brother Gordon and two sisters Reta Hughes and Stella Parker. At Roy's request there will be no visitation. A graveside burial will take place on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, in Gagetown, NB with Rev. Gerry Laskey officiating.
