DRUMMOND, EUGENE "POP" REGINALD Eugene "Pop" Reginald Drummond of Geary passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on March 28, 2005 at the age of 78. Born in Geary, NB on September 23, 1926, Eugene was the son of the late Horace and Janet Drummond. He was retired after 33 years service as a heavy equipment operator at Base Gagetown. Eugene is survived by his beloved wife Rowena (Carr) Drummond; his sons Jerry (Dolores), Ross (Edna) and Brian (Sandy); his daughters Bonnie Grace, Pat Mercier (Rick) and Debbie Burtt (Bobby) all of Geary; grandchildren Sherry, Eric, Michael, Geoffrey, Terry, Jeremy, Jessica, Levene, Megan, Josh; great grandchildren Jillian and Ethan; his brother Douglas Drummond (Rose); his sisters Helen MacGougan, Pauline MacDonald (John), and Barb McLaughlin (William); as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eugene was predeceased by granddaughter Jennifer and a sister Betty Ball. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Friday April 1, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Venerable John Sharpe officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
