McKNIGHT, HELEN BESSIE - Helen Bessie McKnight of Great Oaks Special Care Home, Wickham, passed away at her residence on March 29, 2005 at the age 86. Born in Snider Mountain NB on September 17, 1918, she was the daughter of the late George and Merle (Ganong) Brown and the beloved wife of the late Harry McKnight who passed away in 2001. Helen is survived by her daughter; Shirley Harding (Cyril) of Keirstead Mt., two sons; Barry (Yvonne) of Burlington, Ontario; Stephen (Agnes) of Hamilton, Ontario, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, a daughter-in-law, Doreen of Waterdon, Ont and two sister-in-laws Rosie Brown of Snider Mountain, and Vivian Brown of Sussex. Helen was predeceased by a grandson, a great grandson, two brothers Austin Brown and Russell Brown, four sisters Verna Keirstead, Nita McQuinn, Dorothy Branscombe and Mabel Murray. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Keirstead Mt.
