BROWN, ELSIE MAY It is with deep sadness that the family of Elsie May Brown announces her passing. She died peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on March 29, 2005, with her family and Rev. Sharpe by her side. Born in Vancouver, BC, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and May (Young) Austin and wife of the late Perry Allaby Brown. Elsie was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Women's Auxillary branch #4, a member of the L.O.B.A. and the 55 Plus Club. She is survived by two daughters Sheila Fairweather (Lyndon), Carole Ann Smith (Larry) all of Fredericton; two sons Perry "Ted" (Cindy), Richard (Marilyn) all of Fredericton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother Leonard Rutter of Vancouver, BC; half sister Mae Chomechk of Abbotsford, BC; sister-in-laws Bessie Matthews and Bertha Farquharson, Annie Porter, Leota Brown; several nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends on Friday at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton from 3:30 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Venerable John Sharpe officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
