Margaret M. (Maher) Marquis OTTAWA, ON - Margaret M. (Maher) Marquis, 83, wife of the late David A. Marquis (2001), of Ottawa, ON, formerly of Chatman, NB, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, March 29, 2005. Born on October 31, 1921 in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur M. Maher and Blanche E. (Costley) Maher. Cherished mother of, Walter D. (Martha J.) Marquis of Toronto, ON; loving sister, Yvonne "Bunny" (late Hugh "Buster") Elhatton, of Bathurst. Besides her parents and husband, David A.P. Marquis of Campbellton, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward "Ned" (late Pearl) Maher of Chatham; and her sister, Gertrude (Scotty) Babin, of Boston. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday,April 1, 2005 at 1:00pm from Resurrection of Our Lord Church, Ottawa, ON (613733-4661).
