MURRAY, ARTHENA N. - Arthena Nancy Murray of 22 Third Street, Rothesay, NB, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia on June 9, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Captain Arthur and Ethel (Poole) Hickey. She was predeceased by her husband Frank A. Murray and her sisters, Gertrude Palmer and Blanche Schwartz. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Ethel Bliss and husband Vern of Calgary, AB; her son, Kenneth Murray and wife, Sheila of Rothesay; her daughter, Susan MacLean and husband, Rod of Amherst and her daughter, Frances Baxter and husband, Jim of Moncton. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. There will be no visitation by family request. A private family service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Father William Brennan. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a charity of the donors' choice.
