Arsène Surette 1923 - 2005 MEMRAMCOOK, NB - Arsène Surette, 81, of Foyer Saint-Thomas, Memramcook, formerly of Gauvin Road, Dieppe, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at his residence. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Calixte and the late Laudia (née: Landry) Surette. Mr. Surette had retired from Co-op Farm Services, he was an avid bowler, a member of the Club d'Age d'Or de Dieppe and a parishioner of Ste. Thérèse Church. He is survived by one daughter, Lorraine (Lou Demers) of Fredericton; two sons, Wilfred "Pitou" (Paulette) and Gary (Janet), both of Dieppe; three grandchildren, Charline, Josée and Justin as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Surette was predeceased by his wife, Jeannette in 1997; one daughter, Lilliane and also by two brothers, Eloi and Desiré. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 from 2 to 4pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Ste. Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
