MACKIN, FRANCIS (FRANK) GREGORY - Frank passed away peacefully on April 5, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Frank enjoyed a long and varied career as a sheet metal/ventilation specialist as a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association (Local 437). He contributed to many commercial construction projects throughout the Maritime Provinces. Frank was a very generous man who also enjoyed spending time watching his Red Sox baseball team. He was the son of the late James and Mary (Joyce) Mackin. He is survived by his brothers Frederick (Iva Spence) and Roy (Janet Cunningham); nephews James (Holly) Mackin, Michael (Josee) Mackin; nieces Catherine (Dean) Rhyno, Kelly Mackin, Margaret (Paul) Wright; and several beloved grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret Smith, and niece Mary Carolyn Mackin. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday April 8, 2005 at 12 noon. Following cremation a private family interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
