ORCHARD, HERTHA M. Hertha M.Orchard of Howard Brook passed away at the Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by one son, David Orchard. She is survived by her husband Harry Orchard, daughter Valerie (Thomas Hamilton) Billings of Carlisle, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, daughter in law Mary (Orland Foster) Orchard, sisters, Minerva Clark, Leota Boyd, brother Eldon Orser, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from The Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in the Carlisle Cemetery. Donations the Lung Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. [Daily Gleaner]
