Phyllis Wiseman NEW BANDON, NB - Mrs. Phyllis Wiseman, 82, wife of the late William Wiseman, of New Bandon, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the Mount St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Miramichi, after a brief illness. Born in New Bandon, she was the daughter of the late Orval and Mary (Dempsey) Dempsey. She is survived by three sons, Keith Wiseman (Myra) of Stonehaven, Garnet Wiseman (Catherine) of Moncton, and Rev. Ross Wiseman (Joanne) of Miramichi; two daughters, Opal Ellis (George) of Janeville and Cheryl Murphy (Gordon) of Bathurst; one brother, Benson Dempsey of Bathurst; one sister, Bernetta Trenholm of Oshawa, ON; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband, William in 1993. The body will rest after 2 p.m. Saturday with visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Central United Church, Clifton. Burial will be in the Stonehaven Cemetery. www.elhatton.com [Times & Transcript]
