Harold Douglas Erb August 10, 1929 - February 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Castle Funeral Home- Kings Chapel ERB, HAROLD D. - With deep sadness we regret to announce the passing of Harold Erb with his family by his side February 22nd, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Dad will always be remembered for his dedication to his work, his devotion to his family and all the good advice he gave to each and everyone of us and his smile that brightened up the day. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. Husband of the late Margaret Erb, born in Kingston, NB he is the son of the late Warren & Gertrude (Lamb) Erb. Harold lived in Kingston all his life. He was a war veteran. He was employed by Fowler Transport, Canadian Johns Manville, Tru - Line Interior Contractors and later self employed. He is survived by sons Jerry (Cordelle) of Kingston, Roger of Saint John, Everett (Dawn), Raymond(Darlene) all of Kingston, daughters Marilyn McCullum (Art) of Kingston and step daughter Lorna Ripoll (Edward) of New Glasgow, NS, brother Otty (Alma) of French Village, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his wife Margaret, brother Roy, sisters Annie and Elsie, and granddaughter Melanie Erb. By Harold's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held in Erbs Cove Baptist Church Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
