Maurice Victor O'TOOLE

DALY, Maurice Victor (O'Toole) ---- In loving memory of Maurice Victor (O'Toole) Daly, 77 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Tuesday, January 4th, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in Montreal and married Dorothy (Gallant) in 1950 in Montreal. Maurice had been a longtime Montreal resident having lived several years in St. Catharines he settled in Sudbury 8 years ago. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Club 111 at St. Andrew's Place. He had been a chemist and radiologist at Canadian Steel Foundries retiring in 1980. He was a founding member of the Canadian Non-Destructive Testing Society and also served as president for a two year term. He was made a Fellow of the British Non Destructive Testing Society. Maurice had a great sense of humour which he generously shared with others. He will be remembered as an outgoing person who was strong willed and determined. Maurice was devoted to his loving family. In the spirit of his Irish heritage - and until we meet again, Maurice may God hold you in the palm of His hand. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Gallant) Daly of Sudbury. Loving father of Patricia (husband Don Sutton) of Sudbury, Michael of Oakville, Joanne (husband Joe Prudden) of St Catharines and George of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Gregory, Nikki, Dan, Erin and Megan. Dear son of John and Eva (Caron) O'Toole-Daly predeceased. Dear brother of Laura Bergeron (husband Roland) both predeceased, Victor O'Toole predeceased (wife Claire of New Hampshire), Patricia Guy of Montreal (husband Victor predeceased), Rita Rodrique (husband Andre) of Chomedy, P. Q. , John Daly (wife Eilene) both predeceased, Alice Stelfox predeceased (husband Gordon of Toronto) and Theresa Babineau (husband Al) of Toronto. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Road, Sudbury, Saturday, January 8th, 2005 at 10:00 a. m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Prayers 7:30 p. m. Friday. Donations to the NEORCC would be appreciated. (Friends may call from 2-5 & 7-9 p. m. Friday).
