HLUCHANIUK, Michael "Mike" ---- In loving memory of Michael "Mike" Hluchaniuk, 84 years of Sudbury who passed away Wednesday morning, January 5, 2005 at the Extendicare - Falconbridge, Sudbury. He was born in Ukraine and married Julia (Krysa) in 1946 in Germany. Michael came to Sudbury in 1951. He worked at the Public Works Dept. at the City of Sudbury, retiring in 1983 with 29 years service. He was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Beloved husband of Julia (Krysa) Hluchaniuk of Sudbury. Loving father of Myron Hluchaniuk (wife Brenda predeceased) of Sudbury, Mary Onyschuk (husband Robert) of Ottawa and Sandy Roberts (husband Gordon) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Colin, Tasha, Steven, Tara (husband Trevor) Jennifer, Wesley and Michael. Dear son of Walter and Paraska (Stefurak) Hluchaniuk predeceased. Dear brother of John of Ukraine and Evdokia predeceased. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. , Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 40 Notre Dame Ave. , Sudbury, Monday, January 10, 2005 at 10:30 a. m. Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery. Panakhyda 7 p. m. Sunday.
