LECOMPTE, Roger ---- The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the age of 78 years. Son of the late Bruno and of the late Emela (née Louisseize) Lecompte. Husband of the late Marie-Anne Jalbert. Loving father of Lorraine McDowell (Don) of Val Thérèse and Leonard Lecompte (Joanne) of Sudbury. Dear brother of Lucienne Hrystak (Melvin) of Garson and Raymond Lecompte, Laurent Lecompte and Michel Lecompte (Caroline) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brothers, Roland and Gerard. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Wayne, Clayton, Tammy, Natalie, Joelle and by his great-grandchildren, Austin, Braydon, Ava and Mariza. Mr. Lecompte was a retired Inco employee. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Thursday evening from 7-9:30 p. m. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 7, 2005 at 10:00 a. m. in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
