VAILLANCOURT, Rodolphe ---- The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Monday, January 10, 2005 at the age of 74 years. Son of the late Albert and of the late Fernande (née Bradley) Vaillancourt. Beloved husband of Florence Vaillancourt (née Beaudry) of Chelmsford. Loving father of Colette Belanger (Len), Roxanne Blais (Donald), Percy Vaillancourt (Denise) and Luc Vaillancourt all of Chelmsford and Edgar "Buck" Vaillancourt (Carole) of Dowling. Dear brother Marjolaine Berry (Edmond) of River Valley, Simon Vaillancourt (Marie-Claire), Ronald Vaillancourt (Noëlla) and Claude Vaillancourt (late Carmen) all of Chelmsford and Armand Vaillancourt (Claudette) of Dowling. Predeceased by his brothers Réjean (Lucille of Chelmsford), Fernand (Joan of Belleville) and by his sister Gabrielle "Gaby" Gervais (André of Val Caron). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Dominic, Celeste, Damien, Chantale, Natalie, Sika, Tiffany, Martin, Manon, Eric, Adrien and by his great granddaughter, Stephanie. Mr. Vaillancourt was the former owner and operator of Rod's Three Star Grocery. He later retired as a janitor at Champlain School, Chelmsford. Rodolphe enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and swimming. He was a member of the "Club 50", Chelmsford, a scout leader from 1956 to 1963 and a Rayside Balfour counsillor from 1964-1965. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R. R. 15, Chelmsford, Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p. m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 14, 2005 at 11:00 a. m. in St. Joseph's Church, Chelmsford.
