ANTONIONI, Josephine (nee Boni) ---- In loving memory of Josephine Antonioni, 77 years. The family announces with sorrow the passing of our loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site - CCA Unit. Beloved wife of Evo Antonioni of Sudbury. Loving mother of Vera (husband Charles Lynds), Marlene (husband David Stalker), Art (wife Dolores) and Cheryl (husband Wayne Goudreau). Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Don (friend Kelly), Andy (wife Betty Lou), Sherry (husband T. J. Farrell), Bob (wife Bev), Kim, Shelley, Trevor (wife Tanya), Derek (wife Natalie) and Ryan and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of Modesto and Annina (Silvestri) Boni both predeceased. Dear sister of Helen (husband Tony Ciccone) of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, John (predeceased) wife Koidula, Elsie (husband Velio Antonioni predeceased), and Mary (husband Quinn Silvestri predeceased). Born on September 6, 1927 she married Evo in 1943. She was a founding member of St. Andrew The Apostle Church and a member of the C.W.L., receiving the "Maple Leaf" pin for her dedication to church and community work. Josephine had been an avid gardener and cook, teaching Italian cooking and publishing her own cook book "Creative Italian Cooking". The family thank the emergency staff at St. Joseph Health Center, staff at CCA Memorial Site, Dr. Wong and Dr. Famand, and the Lougheed Funeral Home staff for their care and support.
