McLEOD, Catherine Cheryl (nee Clouthier) ---- In loving memory of Catherine Cheryl McLeod. After a short and courageous battle with cancer, the family announces with sorrow her death in Sudbury on 16th day of January, 2005, at the age of 51 years. Born September 4, 1953, she was the beloved daughter of Donald and Helen-Anne (Boots) Clouthier of Chalk River, Ontario. Best friend and loving life partner of Denis Tomassini. Loving mother to Shane McLeod and Tracy Labelle (husband Raymond labelle) and precious grandmother to Zachary and Alysha Labelle. Dear sister to brother Don (wife Candace) and aunt to Tanner and Braden Clouthier, all of BC. Also survived by Denis' family, daughter, Lee-Anne Tomassini and grandson Nathan, daughter, Lana Marie Tomassini (partner Dennis Deschamps) and granddaughter Aryanna, mother, Flore-Ange Tomassini, brother Richard Tomassini, sister Shirley Sagle (husband Blair), sister Susan Simmons (partner Spence Sutton) and many nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her friend and ex-husband Keith McLeod (partner Tarja Mulligan), and his family, Brenda McLeod, Lynda McLeod (husband Andre Danis), Bruce McLeod (wife Elizabeth), Lee-Anne McLeod (husband, Dave Hubley) and Jessica and Morgan Hubley, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Prior to the onset of her disease, Cathy was a legal assistant with the firm of Conroy, Trebb, Scott and Hurtubise for 10 years and special secretary to Murray A. Scott. She was a kind, loving and generous person giving of herself and of her time. Music and reading gave her much solace. We love you, we miss you...so very much now and forever. The family will receive friends for a remembrance and celebration of Cathy's life at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 from 2-5 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated. Memorial service to be held for Cathy at a later date in her home town of Chalk River, Ontario.
