Franceschina MASTROIANNI

ROCCA, Franceschina "Franca" (nee Mastroianni) ---- In loving memory of Franceschina Rocca, 60 years of Sudbury who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, Sunday evening, February 6, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. She was born in Acquafredda, Italy and married Antonio Rocca in Italy in 1960. Franceschina lived in Sudbury for over 30 years. She had worked at Eaton's for 24 years, retiring in 1995. A devout Roman Catholic, she belonged to St. Anthony's Church. She enjoyed gardening and she was an avid worker. Franca will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and Nona who was happiest when with her family, especially her precious grandchildren. Beloved wife of Antonio Rocca predeceased 2002. Loving mother of Franco and Dario (wife Joyanne) both of Sudbury. Cherished Nona of Carly and Ryan. Dear daughter of Giuseppe and Giovanna (Cimino) Mastroianni of Italy. Dear sister of Letizia Cimino (husband Antonio) and Grazia Clouthier (husband Ray) both of Sudbury, Carmella Mastroianni (husband Giovanni) of Acquafredda, Italy. Special aunt to Batistina (husband Antonio Mastroianni) of Sudbury and sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews and their families. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 19 Mary St., Sudbury, Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 10 a.m. Entombment in the Civic Mausoleum. Prayers 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated.
