Germaine CAMPEAU

Germaine Campeau , of Hearst - Date of Death: January 27th, 2005 , died at Notre Dame Hospital on Jan. 27, 2005. She was 86 years old. Ms Campeau was born on Jan. 3, 1919 in Bing Inlet and moved to the area in 1921. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and baking bread and desserts. Ms Campeau was predeceased by her husband René, son Real, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by children Raoul (Yvonne) of Bancroft, Gérard (Colette) of Timmins, Cécile (Jean) Gagnon of Strathroy, Michelle (Don) Bosley of Gore Bay and Nellie (Hervé) Levesque, Jean-Paul (Françoise), Joseph (Solange) and Diane (Rheal) Lacelle, all of Hearst. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson. Fr. Gerald Chalifoux directed the funeral at the Cathedrale. Ms Campeau will be interred at Sts Martyrs Canadiens in Jogues. Donations may be made to the Foyer des Pionniers. Funeral director was the Lafrance Funeral Home.
