Karen Nellie RECOLLET

RECOLLET-MEJAKI, Karen Claudette Nellie Summer Moon Woman, September 25th, 1979 - February 20th, 2005. Died at her home on Sunday February 20th, 2005 surrounded by her family. Karen enjoyed walking in the outdoors hunting, fishing and camping. She was the hockey trainer and manager of the Wikwemikong Novice Hawks Hockey Team. Survived by her loving husband Walter Mejaki and sons Daniel and Jonas. Also survived by her loving parents Kwa Doe and Dwight Recollet, brothers Wayne and Adam and sister Joanna (fiancé Casey) all of Wikwemikong. Predeceased by one brother Dwight Jr. Dear daughter-in-law of Urban and Marina Mejaki. Sister-in-law of Merlin Eshkakogan of Sagamok, Khrista (friend Chad), Lori (husband Peter) and Lanell. Loving aunt of Tyler, Tasheena, Samson, Avery, Sheldon, Joseph, Jacki, Ethan, Aiden, Megan, Nikita and Austin. Special Cousin and close friend of Bernice and Robert. Karen leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her. Resting at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni, ON. (Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday). Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Mission, Thursday February 24th, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment in Wikwemikongsing Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
