Andre St-Louis , of Hearst - Date of Death: February 11th, 2005 - The memorial service for Hearst and former Hornepayne resident André St-Louis, 66, is to be held today, Feb. 16th, 2005 in Hearst. He died Feb. 11th at Notre-Dame Hospital from cancer. Born May 11th, 1938 in Hearst, he was described as honest, hard working loving, protective, helpful and handy. A tobacco picker in Tillsonburg in his younger years, he worked at Olav Haavaldsrud Timber Co. for 42 years, at first in the mill and later as a truckdriver until last October. Predeceased by his parents and a brother Gaston St-Louis of Toronto, he leaves his daughters Cindy (Robert) Mackie and Claudette (Stéphane Trudel) St-Louis, all of Hornepayne, and sons Dennis (Anne) of Calgary and Brian (Debbie Smith) St-Louis of Hornepayne. Also surviving are sisters Rolande Rheault, Anita Rhéaume, Rachel (Réjean) Raby, Diane Arseneault, and Annie (Bertrand) Rhéaume, all of Hearst, and brothers Raymond (Rose), George and Daniel, all of Hearst, Jérôme (Fleurette) of Lac Saguay, Que., Léopold (Betty) of Alliston, Ont., and Serge St-Louis of Calgary, as well as two granddaughters and two grandsons. Rev. Jean-Marc Pelletier is to direct the 10:30 a.m. service at Église St-Pie-X Church. Cremation was done by Hillcrest Crematorium. Funeral director is the Salon Lafrance Funeral Home. Commemorative donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
